Helping Students Write Effectively with Visuals

From scientific writing with figures, tables, and diagrams to humanistic essays that include images of artwork, maps or musical examples, students often struggle to discuss their visuals effectively in their own writing. This session presents an innovative heuristic designed to help students move beyond "See Figure 1" to a richer written engagement with visual elements.(Link will be sent to registered participants prior to the session.)
