Composing the Internship Experience: Topics in Digital Rhetoric and Social Media Discourse

WRITING 270

Examines how students participating in an internship or other work-related experience can productively narrate their experiences using digital rhetoric and social media. Topics vary depending on each student's internship, and also include theoretical perspectives on social media, examining audience, purpose, and context in digital platforms, and composing in public sphere. Students apply internship/work experience to course concepts as they produce digital writing and social media projects. Online course. May be repeated. Prerequisite: WRITING 101 or WRITING 120. Instructor consent required.
