Introduction to College Teaching

This course is designed to prepare undergraduate students to teach their own half-credit house courses. This course will teach students how to design syllabi, create effective assignments/assessments, provide high-quality feedback as well as teaching them how to implement active learning strategies in the classroom. Furthermore, students will learn to design and implement foster inclusivity and equity in the classroom. This course also serves as a platform to for community-building and ongoing conversation among student instructors. This creates 'community of practice' in which you will be able to connect with your peers about best practices and challenges in the classroom.
