Join Sarah Wilbur (dance) and Jennifer Ahern-Dodson (writing) for a workshop series focused on writing as an embodied practice. Learn strategies that help you focus, create space for your writing in your day, and recognize and address physical stressors that may be stalling healthy writing practices. Each workshop includes an introduction to a strategy, independent writing time to practice the strategy, and resources. This workshop will offer short movement breaks that focus on achieving inner connectivity in the body to enable written expressivity as you work. Take-away tips to settle your body and promote physical listening and reorientation when internal or external stressors creep in.
